Description:
The "Coral series" is a cluster of three ceramic pieces, crafted meticulously using slabs, coils and pinch pot techniques. Made from durable stoneware, these vases showcase a natural colour palette that highlights their organic charm. Each vase, with its unique form, exudes a sense of movement and patterns, giving the vases a tactile and visual depth. The natural tones and fluid shapes make these pieces not only functional but also striking center pieces. They bring a touch of nature indoors, celebrating the raw beauty of the earth. 
 
The process of creating this series was rewarding, challenging and inspiring. Although each piece forms part of a cluster, they still own their own uniqueness and identity. Looking at the smallest shape to the largest, you can note a sense of evolution, growth and progress. The transition can almost be compared to the growth from childhood to adulthood.
 
All my pieces are crafted from 100% stoneware. Each piece is unique, with only a few select designs ever replicated, typically in small batches of no more than four, ensuring individuality. Even replicated pieces differ due to the hand-building process. Creating a new piece, from start to finish, generally takes about a month. I reserve one-of-a-kind creations for staple centerpiece designs.
