Description:
Bebuxxa is a small vase adorned with a distinct yellow crackle glaze, giving it a one-of-a-kind character. Its design, naturally formed during firing, resembles the spiral of a snail’s shell, hence the name "bebuxxa" meaning snail in Maltese.
All my pieces are crafted from 100% stoneware. Each piece is unique, with only a few select designs ever replicated, typically in small batches of no more than four, ensuring individuality. Even replicated pieces differ due to the hand-building process. Creating a new piece, from start to finish, generally takes about a month. I reserve one-of-a-kind creations for staple centerpiece designs.
