Description:
Inspired by the delicate form of a sea urchin, this ceramic piece reflects the essence of the sea with its intricate textures and natural hues. Its surface, enhanced by carefully crafted coils that mimic the gentle spines and ridges of a sea urchin's shell, pays homage to nature's design. The name "Rizza"—Maltese for sea urchin—felt like the perfect match for this creation.
 
All my pieces are crafted from 100% stoneware. Each piece is unique, with only a few select designs ever replicated, typically in small batches of no more than four, ensuring individuality. Even replicated pieces differ due to the hand-building process. Creating a new piece, from start to finish, generally takes about a month. I reserve one-of-a-kind creations for staple centerpiece designs.
